During the early months of the 2021/2022 season, Foxes Pride had a unique opportunity to have discussions with Brendan Rodgers and five of LCFC’s senior players about LGBT+ issues and the need to improve inclusion in football.
Some committee members of Foxes Pride, including their Chair Graeme Smith, shared insight into what it’s like to be an LGBT+ football fan, and discussed the importance of Brendan Rodgers and the players to be allies. LCFC released a story on the website during Rainbow Laces week and the story can be found here.
Foxes Pride also used the meeting to give back to LCFC the now famous rainbow flag that Jamie Vardy signed from the Sheffield United game in the 2020/2021 season.
